As many of you already know, I love most cars made by Aurora Plastics. The T-jets are my favorite and HO scale is the most practical for me collect due to their smaller size. However I do come across some other Aurora oddities from time to time while I'm out trolling for more cars to add to my collection. A few weeks ago I found this  K&B 1/24  Ready to Run Cooper F-1 Wild Cat (circa 1966) slot car in running condition with the original owners manual. $20 seemed like a fair price as I have never seen one of these in person before.

I know that this site is dedicated to HO cars but this is a pretty cool and hardly seen item and I wanted to share it with the other members. I don't plan on collecting or racing this car or scale of cars but I like to buy this stuff if the price is right in an effort to educate myself and broaden my horizons to other slot car stuff out there. It will most likely go to ebay this holiday season to someone who will hopefully appreciate it and give it a good home. In the meantime, I will enjoy it myself.

Recent Purchases.

Three more great looking Aurora TJets. The pick of them the all black Cougar. I've near bottomed out on Aurora TJet purchases as I  now have pretty much  what I've been after.  Not sure I've actually completed a collection yet so will need to thoroughly research exactly what I've got against what was/is available.

Hey, gang, I was at a local (Wake Forest) toy store this evening and discovered a lot of 5 or 6 Life-Like HO slot cars. They are on clearance for $8.00 each plus NC tax. Not sure what chassis it is and the bodies are no one famous. But if you're interested, let me know and I'll pick them up for you.
